As a black small business owner, I have been overwhelmed with an influx of emotions. by the injustices faced by black men and women in this country and all over the world. George Floyd. Breonna Taylor. Ahmaud Arbery. Eric Garner. Trayvon Martin. The countless black lives lost to systemic racism and police brutality. We say their names and we stand in solidarity with our fellow brothers and sisters. I’m praying that we will come out of this revolution with a more progressive society than we’ve ever had before.
We need justice. We need equality.
