We are beyond thrilled, excited, and so proud that client Fauchon L’Hôtel Paris was just named:

No. 1 Best Paris City Hotel by Travel+Leisure 2025 World’s Best Awards*

The property was also named:

#2 Best City Hotel in Europe

#4 Best City Hotel in the World

It is an incredibly exciting honor for the property — which will celebrate its seventh birthday on September 1st — to have achieved this amazing accolade, beating out the more well-known and established palace hotels in the city.

From the first day we were hired to write the hotel’s website to every moment we have spent at the hotel and managing publicity for them, we have known this property and its team is something truly special, and now the world agrees! Bravo!

Thrilled to have client Venchi featured in this Financial Times story on high-end chocolate purveyors.

Travel will never be the same.

As consumers of all ages and economic backgrounds continue to embrace travel, they also have a fierce commitment to wanting to explore in new and different ways.

This means hotels, destinations, cruises, tour operators, and anyone else involved in the tourism industry simple can’t sit back and do things as they have always done them.

Take for example THE EVOLUTION OF THE AFRICAN SAFARI. People are no longer interested in hopping in a vehicle and checking the Big Five off their list. They want to experience the continent in a deeper way.

Somebody had the brilliant idea years ago to develop TRAIL TOURS TO PROMOTE LIKE-MINDED PRODUCTS at a destination, and that strategy continues to drive tourism as never before.

Perhaps we can chalk it up to social media, but BEAUTY TOURISM IS THRIVING as people venture around the globe to both travel and save money on a variety of cosmetic procedures.

CULINARY DRIVEN CAMPING IS BOOMING as people seek out the opportunity to see where their food comes from and immersive themselves more into the farm-to-table experience.

And finally the editors at Conde Nast Traveler have compiled an interesting LIST OF 2025 TRAVEL TRENDS.

It’s a new week, a new government, and a new edition of hashtag .

We’re keeping a close eye on the trends impacting hospitality and tourism so you can leverage some of the ideas for your own sales and marketing strategies.

For example, GOLF PACKAGES STILL DRIVE REVENUE as hotels and resorts are creating more inclusive golf-related experiences with lots of add-ons for premium pricing.

LUXURY HOTEL BRANDS are creating more avenues for maintaining relationships with loyal customers by launching private jet tours and yacht cruises.

Accor and Skift have a new report looking at THE POWER OF FOOD AND DRINK IN HOSPITALITY.

There’s a new HOTEL BRAND COLLABORATION featuring chocolate chip cookie-inspired suites in New York City.

And the LATEST TREND IN TOURISM has to do with true crime. Check it all out in our three-minute read below.

First off, our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the fires in Los Angeles. We realize it’s a difficult time for those who live and work in Southern California and kudos go to all of the first responders as well as those in hospitality who are graciously welcoming people who have lost their homes or needed to evacuate.

For those who are back to business as usual, we’re starting off with a huge roundup of 21 TRENDS TO WATCH IN 2025, and they represent a significant shift in consumer behavior regarding how people are traveling.

We then move on to how people are searching and booking travel experiences, and the reality is SOCIAL MEDIA HAS BECOME THE NEW SEARCH ENGINE. Consumers, in fact, visit social media first to discover what they want to experience and then may go to Google to plan their trip.

TRAVEL LOYALTY PROGRAM INTEREST is declining, with no significant growth shown over the past three years.

We’ve entered what many are now calling the ASPIRATION ECONOMY, WHERE PURCHASING IS DRIVEN BY ASPIRATION rather than basic needs.

And GEN Z IS DRIVING A SHIFT IN HOTEL OPERATIONS, most notably as it relates to food and beverage. The end of the three meal a day dining environment may soon be upon us.

How do you keep up with growing industry shifts in order to enhance your product or service offerings and ensure your brand is both appealing and relevant to your target customer?

As marketers, we can't keep promoting and delivering the same-old, same-old and expect mind blowing results whether that be an increase in ADR, higher room rates, greater publicity, etc. We need to be mindful of the changing tastes and expectations of consumers and, more importantly, satisfy them. The question is, how do you stay on top of those continually altering preferences?

My hashtag newsletter is a great way for those who work in hospitality, restaurants, and tourism to keep their finger on the pulse of what is going on out there. Here are this week's trends:

➡️ We are seeing a SHIFT TOWARD NOCTOURISM, which is travel focused on nighttime experiences.

➡️ And speaking of travel habits, there is a NOTICEABLE CHANGE IN MILLENNIAL TRAVEL, with many of their generation-specific travel behaviors dying out.

➡️ Have you heard of NAKED TRAVEL? It’s not exactly what you think, but it could offer some hotels and travel service companies an opportunity to create new revenue streams.

➡️ And you knew it had to happen one day as ATLANTIC CITY ANNOUNCES A MONOPOLY-THEMED HOTEL.

➡️ Finally, the Taylor Swift impact of live music tourism is not going away any time soon as a relatively new hotel brand founded by Universal Music Group remains committed to creating hotels which function as cultural hubs.
