Contracts are made to be amended. Maintain and utilize your leverage. If your attorney won’t budge, find new counsel. They work for you and you only….Sidebar. Never use the same attorney as the entity you are signing to…..

Many years back my guy invited me to a studio session in Brooklyn as he normally would do. Sitting in the back of the room was this quiet kid who didn’t speak a lot but was very attentive. After being at the session I was getting ready to head out and was told that this kid had some good music and good songwriting. I urged this kid to play me a song before I headed out. That one song blew me mind so much that i told him I was going to LA a few weeks later to work with aka and he should come. ………….Let’s just say years later he has Grammy nominated by his name and his album that dropped today. He has put the work in and more. I’m super proud of him. Yes, I am talking about ……You should bring him in to write. He will blow your mind……
