I know some people watched last night and felt confused… or even uncomfortable.
When something doesn’t look or sound like what we’re used to, it can stir things up. That reaction is human.
What stood out to me wasn’t just the music. It was the message.
Seeing Bad Bunny perform on one of the biggest stages in the world — fully in Spanish — was a reminder of a few things we don’t talk about enough:
• Representation matters. When people see themselves reflected on big stages, it expands what feels possible.
• Culture doesn’t need translation to be valid. You don’t have to understand every word to understand the power.
• Diversity isn’t a threat. It’s a strength. In business. In leadership. In life.
I’ve learned this as an entrepreneur. The rooms that changed me most weren’t the ones where everyone looked, thought, or sounded the same.
They were the rooms where perspectives collided — respectfully — and something better was built because of it.
Growth asks us to stretch.
Leadership asks us to listen.
And success… real success… makes room for more than one story.
If something challenged you last night, maybe that’s the invitation. Not to retreat, but to expand.
We don’t all have to agree to honor the courage it takes to show up fully as yourself on a world stage.
If you watched, what did you notice most about the performance?
