The planning phase is arduous - research; maps; charts; more research; conversations; getting it all down on paper; color; color transitions; more research; tributaries; dams; cold water refuges; Tribal perspectives; more research. But ultimately, I love every minute of the process!

Monochromica is a very cool publication ..... each issue focusses on a single color and presents various art work reflecting that color. Little tapestries like to be grouped with other loved items like Inuit sculpture and baskets - and maybe a book or two and even some Alexander Girard fish. The point being that little tapestries from the LittleWeavingsCo are meant to provide a moment of joy or spark a memory of a favorite place. Woven with pure wool on linen warps, these tapestries are artisanal and charming at the same time.
