Happy New Year. If you have a nonprofit performing work in NYC, please consider applying for City Council discretionary expense funding. The application has just opened for programming occurring between 7/1/25 to 6/30/26, and will close on February 19, 2025. If you need assistance composing and submitting the application, as well as liaising with City Council offices, please reach out to me! The William T. Grant Foundation invites applications for its Youth Service Improvement Grants program, which supports activities to improve the quality of direct services for young people ages 5 to 25 in the five boroughs of New York City.

The Youth Service Improvement Grants (YSIG) program supports activities to improve the quality of direct services for young people ages 5 to 25 in the five boroughs of New York City. The goal is to strengthen existing services by helping youth-serving nonprofit organizations address challenges or remedy problems at the point of service, where staff and youth interact.

The program is open to all nonprofit organizations that provide direct services to youth ages 5-25 in the five boroughs with a budget between $250,000 and $5 million. Awards will be $25,000 each and support projects lasting one year.

💥💥An exciting funding opportunity!💥💥

The 2024 Borough Cultural Grant application portal is now open. This grant program supports New York City as a culturally vibrant destination by funding the marketing and promotion of not-for-profit arts and cultural programs in all five boroughs.

Eligibility:

✅All grant recipients must be registered as a 501(c)3
with the State of New York.
✅Applicants’ projects must fall primarily within calendar year 2024.
✅All recipients must be in compliance with prior funding requirements.
✅Projects eligible for funding under the program should be tourist-facing and shall include, but are not limited to, promotional materials for cultural institutions, programs, and events (i.e., paid media, print or digital content, and/or videos).

Funding Overview:
➡️Grant awards are typically between $1,000 & $5,000
per organization.
