What an honor to be part of the Inclusive Leadership Lab at Seton Hall University.

It was extra inspiring being in a room with the next generation of healthcare and clinical leaders who are ready to own their narrative and lead with intention.

The day included a deep-dive conversation during a Fireside Chat and a high-energy workshop on Marketing Yourself & Unlocking Your Leadership Potential.

Key Takeaways from the Lab:

- The Power of Story: Your personal journey isn’t just a bio; it’s your competitive advantage in any room.

- Advocacy is Leadership: To lead others, you must first be the fiercest advocate for your own vision and value.

- Strategic Visibility: Success isn’t just about being good at what you do; it’s about ensuring the right people know how good you are.

BIG thanks to .ellenjames for your vision and for inviting me to pour into these ambitious leaders. And to my partner in impact, you do the the work of building financial foundations.

Behind every “big” moment is a series of small, quiet sacrifices.

The morning of the NYUL Ignite the Future mixer started with a sick son and a heavy heart. We had just been to the emergency room for the first time a few days prior due to RSV symptoms. Little man was recovering, but juggling was at 1000 since he was also home... my nervous system was feeling all the stress.

As women, we often feel like we have to choose between our professional callings and our family’s needs. But that’s where the village comes in for me.

Because my mom stepped in to hold down the fort, I was able to step into this room to help ignite the future for our community. This event was my first program of the year for . The video shows some of the highlight reel, the behind-the-scenes footage was a reminder that we dont do this alone.

Motherhood has also exponentially increased my love and appreciation for my own mother.

Grateful for the support that allowed me to be present. It’s not yet Mother’s Day, but I celebrate, support and protect her at all costs.

Last week was the first time turning on an OOO in a long time... and I actually stuck to it.

I used to wear my ‘always-on’ and ‘work from anywhere’ status like a badge of honor. But lately, I’ve been focused on being present where I am present and honoring my own boundaries.

Presence is a choice. I chose family and to be in the moments. It felt slightly uncomfortable but absolutely liberating.

When was the last time you truly unplugged?

I had the absolute honor of moderating “Reclaiming Community: Preserve Your Professional Networks” at the Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit. We moved past surface-level networking to discuss how to intentionally build resilience when formal corporate structures shift.

Huge thanks to my powerhouse panelists, the entire team at Black Enterprise and everybody that supported and added to the conversation:

- Nichole Pointdujour, who shared how “Master Connecting” fueled her transition from Wall Street to CEO.

- Jacqueline Harper, on the vital purpose of external professional associations for long-term brand integrity.
- Paula Cole, for her masterclass on leading with inclusion while driving Fortune 100 P&L results.

Community isn’t just a safety net—it’s a strategic asset and in 2026, our power lies in the rooms we build for ourselves.

Day 2 of celebrating “20 years of Passion, Purpose and Power”

Witnessing Carla Harris speak on stage was an entire masterclass. Stage presence was on 1,000 and the ability to flow and deliver bar after bar of gems left me beyond fueled.

I had to support and secure a front row seat to hear her moderate a phenomenal panel.

Squeezed in an AI session lead by Amazon because I am a forever student and walked away excited to try Kiro….. anyone else using it?

On Dec 17th, I wrapped my calendar year with and celebrated the end of my 6 years supporting businesses throughout NY State grow using Google tools. The experience and opportunity has been life changing and it only made sense to go back to where it all began... Harlem!

Over the last 6 years, I grew from the Harlem Grow with Google Digital coach to the NYC Coach and then NY State Grow with Google coach. The experience started representing Google’s partnership with JP Morgan Chase in Harlem and evolved from there.... you are my forever partner and you are a of opportunity

We wrapped in the best way possible at the Chase Community Branch on 125th Street with a deep dive into Google AI-powered tools to an incredible fireside chat with fellow mompreneur

This particular chapter comes to a close but I look forward to continued partnership with Chase Bank and through my agency, continuing to serve our roster of amazing clients who we call our partners.

A huge thank you to the vendors who made the magic happen: 🎧 for keeping the vibes immaculate per usual 🍹 for the world-class service and the custom cocktail. 🥘 catering that kept us fueled for the 📸 and for your creative magic 🎥

Fueled and excited for what will unfold in 2026 🥂
