It was an honor to facilitate “AI’s Impact on Human Capital” at the New York Urban League Nonprofit Leadership Summit at Yankee Stadium and on Jackie Robinson Day.

As leaders, so many of us are dealing with “capacity poverty” where we have an endless to-do list but finite time and resources. But here is the shift we need to make: AI is not a replacement for human talent. It can be an operating system for human potential.

We broke down how to move from theory to ex*****on using the Head, Heart, Hands, and Hustle framework:

The Head: Moving to skills-based agility. In 2026, the most valuable skill isn’t just knowing the answer—it’s knowing how to frame the question for AI.

The Heart: Keeping “Human-in-the-Loop”. AI should inform our decisions, but humans must always decide.

The Hands: Doing live demos of how tools can protect staff time, reduce administrative burnout, and help missions scale without burning out the team.

The Hustle: Leaving with a 48-hour action plan to audit repetitive tasks and implement better prompting frameworks.

To every ambitious leader out there trying to scale your impact without sacrificing your well-being, it’s time to take your time back. AI isn’t coming for your job, it’s coming to take away the 20% of the work that’s keeping you exhausted.
