Repair your beloved items, learn a skill, keep items out of the trash and bonus; you might save money!
Learning new skills and repairing items keeps them out of landfills and incinerators longer and teaches us that things do not have to be viewed as disposable. Bring your friends and family to Repair Fest too and teach them about repair and why it’s important.
· We do not guarantee repairs, but we promise to have a great time trying.
· Depending on turnout, limit 2 items per person.
· Some suggested items to bring are: clothing, textiles, lamps, fans, vacuums, small kitchen appliances (toasters, water kettles & rice cookers), jewelry
· This is not a drop off event; all repairs are meant to encourage learning & skill sharing, so we ask that you remain on-site during the evaluation and repair.
