I was thinking something along the lines of “what does my future look like” on this day.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
I had no clue where the Lord would place me but I kept telling close friends “I feel like God has something big coming for me. I feel like I’m at a tipping point in my life and in a good way.” And I was. And He did. And just when I feel like the blessings are at capacity ... He’ll love me more.

☀️ I haven’t sat down and intentionally written a poem since high school. I remember it being such a liberating, creative, beautiful feeling knowing that words work for me. They’re how I communicate and love people and they are a gift from the creator of the universe. Declaring freedom today from all mental, physical, emotional strongholds ⛓ in my life. Being okay with not having a job right out of college has taken a huge mental toll. It’s hard to find purpose and strength in everyday life - especially when it seems as though everyone is doin the damn thing.⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Today I’m going to break free of those mental chains, in Jesus name, and live in this time of limbo with the highest honor ✨ because there is a reason I’m here and a reason I’ve been placed with this blessing of an uncertain future.⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Declare this Independence Day, and all those in the future, 🇺🇸 to set yourself free of something that has its chains on you.⠀⠀⠀⠀
