The article points out that women returning to the work force later in life are not ready to stop for retirement. Also, women are more invested in their jobs having achieved a high level and finding greater satisfaction because of it.
Women have become significantly more likely to stay on the job at an older age, many out of enjoyment as much as obligation, research shows.
