One of my proudest achievements at Quinnipiac University was leading this group of amazing professionals who care deeply about professional development and career success for our students. Building the iQ Career Development and Experiential Learning Office has been both challenging and rewarding at the same. It's been amazing building and leading this team. I am going to miss them.

Great spending time this weekend delivering a session on Leadership Skills for Emerging Leaders to the Cabrini-Hunter Fellows at Hunter College of The City University of New York during their annual professional development day. This was a great session with very high participation from attendees. I am confident that we have a strong group of leaders in development. These are the next group of social workers and practitioners. The future looks great for the field.

Spent time this weekend giving a workshop on leadership at my alma mater to delegates and alternates at their annual leadership retreat. As usual, great participation from the students. The University Student Senate Retreat was great this weekend. Spending time with these young leaders was wonderful. It is refreshing to see leaders so passionate and willing to serve. The legacy of USS continues. 50 years strong and looking forward to the next 50 to come.

Today on the 14th anniversary of your passing, I am reminded that you are the firt person who gave me through your DNA and actual life lessons a strong work ethic, the true value of education, compassion, perseverance, my first leadership and emotional intelligence lessons, and so many more .....
