Household Manager/Nanny – Uptown Hoboken

Warm, busy Hoboken family seeking a proactive, organized household manager/nanny to help keep the home running smoothly and assist with before- and after-school care for four kids (infant coming in July, 1-year-old, 4.5-year-old, and 7-year-old). Older boys will be in school from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with after-school activities in afternoons and the little ones will be in full-day daycare until around 5 p.m. The ideal work schedule is 3 days a week from 7 a.m. to 6/6:30 p.m. and 2 days a week from 12:30/1 p.m. to 6/6:30 p.m., guaranteeing 45 hours a week. The ideal candidate is flexible to adjust hours and work full days if the kids are off school or sick. Start date mid-June.

Responsibilities while kids are at school include children’s laundry (wash, fold, put away), dishwasher/kitchen reset, errands and groceries, light meal prep or assisting with simple dinners, organizing living spaces, and keeping household supplies stocked (a weekly housekeeper handles deep cleaning). 

After school, responsibilities include pickups, helping kids transition home (snacks, homework, reading, activities), playground or sports outings, and assisting with evening routine including bedtime support. Looking for someone calm, reliable, and proactive who enjoys creating structure in a busy household and is interested in a long-term role. $30-35/hr depending on experience plus paid vacation, holidays, + sick time.

Warm, busy UES family seeking an engaging and organized household manager/nanny to help keep home running smoothly and assist with after-school/daycare for 4-month-old and 3.5-year-old boys. Start date in early July. No pets at home. Mom works a hybrid schedule between home and the office. Dad is in the office most days. 

Responsibilities while kids are at school/daycare include: laundry (wash/fold/put away), dishwasher/kitchen reset, errands and groceries, light meal prep or assisting with simple dinners, organizing living spaces, and keeping household supplies stocked (weekly housekeeper handles deep cleaning). 

Responsibilities when kids are home include: drop off and pickups, infant care, activities/play for the older son, playground, and assisting with evening routines. Oldest  has an EpiPen for tree nut allergies. 

Ideal schedule: Mon and Fri 12pm-6:30pm and T-Th 7:30am-6:30pm with occasional flexibility for school holidays, sick days or babysitting. $32-35/hour NET (after tax) via W2 payroll plus paid vacation, holidays, metro and sick time

A kind family in uptown Hoboken is searching for a driving nanny for their two boys, aged 5 and 11, starting in August or September. The typical requested hours are Monday- Friday 1pm-6:30pm but they seek a nanny who can flex to full days (approximately 8:00 AM–6:30 PM) for about 20 days during the school year and for a few weeks over the summer when the kids are not in camp (Dates can be given in advance). Family is requesting a nanny arrive at 1pm to assist in child related household tasks and leave at 2pm to drive and pickup from Englewood at the end of the school day (Approx 35 mins from Hoboken- no highway driving). Family has a car the nanny can use while on duty and can offer a parking spot for a nanny who would drive to Hoboken. Most days they will just be picking up 5 year old because the older son will often have after school activities and take a bus home. Searching for a solid driver with a clean driving record and someone who is fun, engaging and responsible to give structure to two sweet and active school elementary age boys. A busy family of three is searching for a before-and-after-school nanny for their 10-year-old daughter, Monday through Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (44 guaranteed hours per week). While the daughter is in school/camp, seeking housekeeping and household management services for our five-bedroom duplex. Tasks include deep cleaning, organizing, grocery shopping, running errands, preparing dinner for the family and the daughter’s meals, and laundry. The family lives in a multi-level unit with a well-maintained space that requires consistent upkeep. No animals at home.
Responsibilities when the daughter is home include drop-offs and pickups, taking her to activities/playdates, homework help and assisting with morning and evening routines. Daughter is a happy and likable child looking for a friendly engagement with a caregiver/nanny.
