If your content isn’t converting… stop doing these 3 things.
If you’re a service provider relying on social media to gain visibility, grow your brand, and book new clients, then your content has to work for you.
Here are 3 things I had to stop doing before my content started generating real income in my business:
1. Stop thinking everything has to be perfect.
People connect with real, raw, authentic content. Not perfection. Show the good, the bad, and the behind-the-scenes. That’s what builds trust and connection online.
2. Stop giving up when things get hard.
If you’re not doing money-making activities daily or weekly, you’re not creating a pipeline of new leads.
Some of my money-making activities include:
+ Following up with people who DM me or inquired about my services
+ Following up with past consultations or Zoom calls
+ Posting a piece of content or sending an email
+ Showing up in my IG stories
+ Running a simple ad so my content is working for me 24/7
Consistency builds visibility. Visibility brings clients.
3. Stop selling yourself short.
God gave you that gift and that business for a reason. When you doubt yourself or play small, you’re doing the world a disservice. Be obedient to the vision He gave you and operate in your greatness.
