Irma is a powerful hurricane that is tied for the 2nd strongest storm in the history of Atlantic Ocean. Irma is a Category 5 storm with 185 mph sustained winds and gusts to 225 mph. The storm is located approximately 50 miles north of San Juan, Puerto Rico, moving west-northwest at 16 mph. As expected, the storm has a very low pressure at 26.99 inches or 914 millibars.
