For years, women’s sports were overlooked.

Now? They’re being reevaluated. Fast.

More capital. More attention. More serious players entering the space.

But not all opportunities are created equal.

So where is the smart money actually going… and why?

Join me tomorrow, Thursday, April 23rd at 1pm ET in the Win Again Clubroom for a candid conversation with two people who are directly involved in the deals shaping this market:

Danielle Vaughn – Sporting operator and franchise builder, currently raising capital for Dream City and a deal flow partner with LvlUp Partners

Bob Malandro – Managing Partner at Whitecap Sports Group, specializing in investment banking and private placements in sports

Comment ‘Win Again’ to get the link to join!

In this session, we’ll cover:
- What’s really driving the surge in women’s sports investment
- Where investors are seeing the strongest returns and long-term upside
- Which leagues, teams, and models are gaining traction
- What to look for (and avoid) before getting involved

Whether you’re an investor, operator, or just paying attention to where sports business is headed, this conversation will give you a clearer lens on what’s next.

See you in the Clubroom!

Most people approach networking backwards.

They apply online.
They send resumes.
They hope someone notices.

But the best opportunities rarely live on job boards.
They live in conversations.
In relationships.
In rooms where people know your name and what you’re good at.

What actually works:
• Have real conversations, not “can you help me” messages
• Follow up and stay in touch
• Offer value before asking for anything
• Be known for something specific
• Go where people are actually talking, not just applying

Opportunities don’t go to the most qualified person.
They go to the most connected and most top of mind.

If you want to learn how to build a network that actually leads to opportunities, that’s exactly what we work on inside Win Again.

Send me a DM and let’s see how we can find your next opportunity!

Here’s a simple question that most people don’t ask themselves often enough:

Are you actually using the products you promote, advise on, or invest in?

Because if you’re not, what are we really doing?

Last night, I got my answer, on the ice.

I wore the NeuroGuard+ for my hockey game, and I’ll be honest, I went in curious. I’ve talked about it, supported it, helped grow it, but there’s a different level of conviction that comes from actually using something in a real, competitive environment.

And right away, I noticed it.

I felt like I was skating a little faster. Maybe that’s the easier breathing. Maybe it’s mental. Maybe it’s both. But there was a difference. I felt more comfortable, more fluid. When I shot the puck, it felt like I had a little extra behind it too.

Subscribe to our LinkedIn newsletter to read more about why it was such a pivotal moment for me and my support for NeuroGuard+ in this week’s Win Again Elevate Your Game Newsletter, watch another “30 Seconds With Mark” video, see why the Clubroom events are gamechangers for entrepreneurs, business leaders and athletes, and much more.

Athletes spend years showing up when they don’t feel like it.

They push through losses, bad games, injuries, and setbacks.

They take feedback from coaches.

They adjust.

They try again.

And again.

And again.

That’s entrepreneurship.

Building a business isn’t about one big win.

It’s about making the sales calls when no one answers.

Posting content when no one engages.

Hearing “no” over and over again and still showing up the next day ready to go.

Athletes are built for this.

They already understand discipline, delayed gratification, competition, and how to perform under pressure.

The scoreboard just changes.

If you’re a former athlete trying to figure out what’s next, don’t underestimate the skills you already have.

The same grit that worked in sports will work in business.

And if you need help figuring out how to apply those skills to your career or business, that’s exactly what we work on inside the Win Again community.

I hear this too often: “I’m just an athlete. I don’t have real work experience.”

Let me be clear: You’re not just an athlete.

You’re someone who’s shown up early, stayed late, pushed through pain, and led teams through wins and losses.

That’s real experience.

You just need the language to frame it.

Inside the Win Again Clubroom, we help you turn your highlight reel into a story that employers understand and respect.

Most people are waiting for their “big break.”

That one life-changing moment. A spotlight. A headline. A handshake that opens every door.

But the truth? Most breakthroughs don’t happen like that.

They happen slowly, and then suddenly.

It’s the message you sent 6 months ago that finally gets answered.

The introduction you made last quarter that turns into a job lead.

The podcast you recorded that someone just now discovered.

You didn’t just get lucky. You were planting seeds.

And when the timing aligned, momentum took over.

The key isn’t being in the right place at the right time; it’s showing up enough that the right time eventually finds you.

This isn’t about luck.

It’s about consistent, intentional action.

💬 What’s one small step you’ve taken this month that moved you forward? Let’s celebrate it together.

Stop overthinking. Start executing.

Entrepreneurship isn’t about having every detail figured out. It’s about taking action, even when the path isn’t perfectly clear.

Too many people get stuck in the weeds; tweaking the logo, rewriting the copy, waiting for the “right time.” Meanwhile, someone else just launches.

Momentum beats perfection every time. You can’t steer a parked car so start moving, learn as you go, and adjust along the way.

The truth is, clarity comes from action, not before it. So, take the next step. Then the next one. You’ll figure out the rest faster than you think.

What’s something you’ve been putting off because it’s not “ready” yet?

It’s not every day that you get the chance to hang out with a professional bull rider, but this past weekend I met with Alex Goins for lunch and a quick little tour of NYC.

I’ve gotten to know Alex as he has been a big time promoter of NeuroGuard+, the lower tooth fitting mouthguard that reduces concussion risk by 95%+ while also increasing strength and making it much easier to speak and breathe.

As you can imagine, a bull rider is in constant danger of suffering head injuries during his rides, and Alex is protecting himself much more effectively by using his NG+.

If you are affiliated with a brand that a young, Army veteran cowboy who happens to be a badass riding bulls could promote, reach out to me and I’ll tee Alex up for you. He’d love to share your brand with his sport and his network.

If you’d like to know more about NeuroGuard+, please go to their website and read more about how over 6000 football players have worn it with only 9 reported concussions. It’s an incredible product that very few people know about. If you are an athlete or have one in your life, please consider getting this groundbreaking product!

Thanks to Alex for meeting up with me on the way back to Georgia (just a short 13 hour drive from NYC!) from his rodeo on Long Island!

You know that feeling when you collapse into bed at the end of the day, completely drained, but in the best way?

That’s the feeling of being good exhausted. It’s the kind of tired that comes from giving it your all, staying laser-focused on your goals, and making progress you can be proud of.

Whether you’re building your business, grinding it out at your job, or chasing a personal dream, there’s something deeply satisfying about knowing you worked hard and moved the needle forward. It’s not just about checking tasks off a list, it’s about pouring your energy into what matters most.

The truth is, the path to success isn’t always glamorous, and some days will be long. But when you’re aligned with your purpose, those days aren’t draining, they’re energizing in their own way.

So, here’s to the hustle. To the late nights, early mornings, and everything in between. To showing up, staying consistent, and putting in the work that future you will thank you for.

Because nothing feels better than knowing you gave it your all.

What’s your favorite way to celebrate a productive day? Drop it in the comments!
