According to Gallup polling, approximately 58% of the adult workforce is working remotely. Although this is down from a high of 70% earlier in the pandemic, a whopping 28% of those polled indicate their desire to continue to work remotely after the Covid-19 threat subsides. Many companies are indicating their strong support for this hybrid model and more “fully remote” jobs are being posted than ever before. Whatever the near and longer term BAU looks like, it will surely include hybrid teams as a norm. Leaders now need to move out of crisis management and into building longterm success with a split workforce.
