Touchdown Dallas. This trip is extra special for us because and I will be attending and speaking at the SuperConference hosted by two of our mentors and who are pivotal to our own journey and success in business.

Preston and I originally met at Russell’s clickfunnels Facebook group which led to an incredible friendship and ultimately becoming a partnership. And by learning and applying Russ and Dan’s marketing principles, this has allowed us to build multiple 7-8 figure businesses.

What struck me is even with Barry’s busy travel and speaking schedule, he insisted on carving out time to create content to continue serving his community.

Heading to Vegas today for Momentum Builder, an incredible event where our good friend and client is keynoting. and I will be providing exclusive coverage for Barry and doing behind the scene interviews - so I’m stoked to connect with friends and clients there!

Funny enough, as I passed through airport security, I got a nice surprise when my good friend called out to me. Kevin built one of the TOP solar sales systems out there. He’s living proof that successful people master one skill and continue to master it. They hone in with laser focus, practicing their craft over and over until they unlock scale within their business.

I’m so honored to share that Preston and I will be speaking at the legendary SuperConference this May alongside some of the biggest names in marketing and business!

Years back, I was just starting out on my entrepreneurial journey. I soaked up every marketing book and course I could find, trying to shortcut the learning curve. It was Russell Brunson’s DotCom Secrets and Dan Kennedy’s teachings that ultimately flipped a switch for me - I realized surrounding yourself with people farther down the path is key.

Dan Kennedy, Russell Brunson and other titans became my mentors from afar. I’d study their materials, dreaming that someday I could impart a fraction of their wisdom.

Flash forward to today: Preston and I will take the stage at SuperConference with friends and mentors to share our playbook on building authority through video marketing and social media using direct-response principles that convert to business. These are lessons we’ve had to learn the hard way, not just focusing on likes and vanity metrics.

I’m humbled by this full circle moment. If you told me when I was studying years ago that I’d someday stand shoulder-to-shoulder with my mentors, I wouldn’t have believed it.

But this honor reminds me that the heart of marketing is paying forward what you’ve been given. It’s lifting up those who come after you. Preston and I are grateful for the giants who paved the way and inspired our own journey. Now we aim to give back however we can.

Grateful to be back in Arizona for a mastermind. But on my flight here from Chicago, I witnessed a pretty painful scene.

A few rows up from where I was seated, I saw a man kept turning around looking behind him.

He began from looking concerned to getting pretty restless.

I realized that he kept looking at the signal light showing if the bathroom is available.

It was clear to me, that this gentleman needed to p*e badly.

Yet people kept jumping up to use the bathroom before him.

I watched his face turn red as he waited agonizingly for his “turn.” He kept almost standing up, only to plop back down dejectedly.

Meanwhile 4 other people used the bathroom as we neared Phoenix. Finally the pilot announced imminent landing, snapping Bathroom Guy to belt up. He never did p*e.

Poor guy.

I felt horrible watching him squirm, too polite to assert his exploding bladder. Don’t we all hold back sometimes, waiting for the “right” time? I’ve done it often whether in business or in my personal life.

But had he stood up and taken initiative, he could’ve relieved himself instead of landing in pain. Opportunities don’t keep knocking. At some point you have to open the damn door.

We all have goals, dreams, ideas that excite us. How often do we wait for some magical “right time” though? For confidence, money, credentials, inspiration? The universe laughs.

I’m making a pledge to myself NOT to be Bathroom Guy. Fortune often favors action over prudence. Mindsets shift, relationships bloom, revenue flows more easily when you engage.

The time is when you give yourself permission.

Don’t be the bathroom guy 😂
