All things must come to an end.
I founded LIYA Collective with the intention of creating minimalist, natural fiber accessories that honor the traditional skillsets of the region in which they’re made, while providing safe, fair employment and supporting local economies. I still believe in that mission, and will continue to prioritize those principles in whatever I do.
But you may have noticed that it’s been quiet around here lately. Since launching this brand, I’ve moved countries, gone to graduate school, and held multiple other jobs. And truthfully, I haven’t been able to give this brand the focus and attention it needs for quite some time.
I am so grateful for the connections I made, the lessons I learned, and the path this brand has taken me on. And I feel so lucky to have worked with such talented partners to bring beautiful, thoughtfully designed products into your lives, from Thailand to Mexico to Peru. But now, I’ve realized that it’s time to officially close our doors, and focus on the next adventure.
So as I write the end of this chapter, I wanted to offer some of the remaining LIYA products at a final, closing price. If you’ve always had your eye on one of our pieces, now’s the time.
