My new that I've only had for 3wks just put out this cute all white leaf. Any monstera experts out there know if I should be worried that I won't get variegated leaves after this?

We had the wildest luck this weekend - finding this mystical fruit in NYC!!! This is a monstera fruit, grown in Florida, properly ripening and delicious! Have you guys had a chance to try this fruit and if so, what did you think?

After we booked this trip to Brazil, I immediately began looking up fruit that might be available here 😋 Of course Florianapolis is in the south of the country and it's currently winter here but I was hopeful. A week in we hadn't found anything interesting despite peeking into nearly every fruit stand we came across, then I spotted this 🤯 I'm not ashamed to admit I uttered a squeal in the store before rushing over to grab the three fruits sitting there so unassumingly. This fruit is called cupuaçu and it's related to cacao - I'd read about it and was dying to try one!! It's an interesting flavor - tart slightly chemical taste with a mild cacao-y finish. I know this doesn't sound appealing but I recommend trying it if you come across one. Brazilians often consume this as ice cream or juice.

Fishnets in Barra da Lagoa, a small fishing village in the city of Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil. The village is set on the mouth of a tidewater channel that flows in and out of the Island's sizable lagoon, the Lagoa da Conceição. The channel is at the end of a long beach made up of Praia Barra da Lagoa (Barra da Lagoa Beach) and Mozambique Beach which form a single 14 km stretch of beach.

The biggest passionfruit I’ve ever encountered!! Mostly sour with no floral notes but still delicious 😋 Keeping my eyes out for other tropical treasures here in Brazil 👀

So, a friend advised me to stop ordering plants until the fall because the heat could make root rot an issue - sage advice...which I have been roundly ignoring! 🙃 Luckily, it seems like Hoyas are nearly indestructible plants so here's my latest addition, Hoya Phu Wua, after a month in transit all the way from Thailand! Isn't she beautiful? 😍

My Hoya Lacounosa bloomed!!! 😊I bought this little guy from a Home Depot only 2 months ago and I’m so excited that it’s already blooming!!!It's so cute and tiny but very fragrant at night. I see two other umbels forming 😍 🥰❤️

This is what happens when you live in NYC and you encounter a jackfruit at Whole Foods Market 🤯- you take it home on the subway!🤨😂 We got a lot of curious looks and questions but we consider that a good thing since we tend to be tropical fruit ambassadors! They’re so much amazing fruit out there - try something new if you can!!!
