"I first encountered Marcus Jansen’s work online over two decades ago and later included it in a show I curated in New York City in 2007. I was struck by how powerfully his paintings captured the turbulent and unsettling realities of our time, and rendered with a haunting beauty.

What resonated was his exceptional artistic skill and ability to create an atmosphere where energy and stillness existed in tandem. While Jansen’s themes were realistically dystopian with a touch of foreboding, his paintings never felt confined by this, but instead they left room for reflection, interpretation, and ultimately, hope."

Juliette Solutions is pleased to announce a new collaboration with 14 Sculptors Inc., a nonprofit collective of professional artists operating under The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA). Founded in 1973 in SoHo, the group created a home for experimental sculpture outside the commercial art world. Now home to artists and curators nationwide, its impact was praised by critic Lawrence Alloway in the 1983 catalogue THEN & NOW for its national relevance.

Juliette Solutions is pleased to be working with The New York Society of Women Artists (NYSWA) in announcing their upcoming exhibition, ‘Into the NOW – The Time of Our Lives’, as part of their Centennial milestone.

The show runs from June 24 to July 19, 2025, at Ceres Gallery 547 W 27th St, Suite 201, New York city, with an opening reception on Thursday, June 26, 6pm to 8pm.

Featuring bold and thought-provoking work from 49 women artists, the exhibition spans painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, and mixed media—each piece a vivid answer to a pressing question: Do we have equality in the arts NOW?

Founded in 1925 by trailblazing women determined to claim space in a male-dominated art world, NYSWA’s roots run deep—from the Armory Show and the Whitney Studio Club to New Deal-era public works. A century later, the Society remains a potent creative force and an outspoken advocate for gender equity and artistic freedom.

Join the New York Society of Women Artists (NYSWA) as they celebrate their Centennial year with their exhibition Reflections on Progress: 100 Years of NYSWA launching March 14th at the Interchurch Center Gallery. Both two and three-dimensional mediums will be displayed in the Treasure Room and throughout the Interchurch Center Gallery’s main lobby, featuring 48 works from both NYSWA’s founding members to today’s diverse artists, this exhibition bridges past and present through powerful art and dialogue, and is part of NYSWA's year-long Centennial celebrations.
