GOOD MORNING MONDAY!
We started the day with a cup of Hojicha! Drinking hot fluids trigger receptors in your stomach that cause you to sweat heavily. As that sweat evaporates from your skin, it cools your entire body down more than the hot drink warmed it up. To keep the cooling effect, choose teas that are chemically "cooling" rather than highly oxidized "warming" teas like black tea or oolongs. Green tea, Moroccan mint tea, and Hibiscus herbal tea work best when consumed hot in hot weather.
