Beginning in childhood as we start accumulating and internalizing criticisms, judgments, and traumas, we develop core beliefs about who we are. In a desperate attempt to secure love and social acceptance, we put on a social mask.
When we are not aware of our disowned parts we act out in self destructive ways, develop psychosomatic disorders, or project the shadowy aspects of ourselves onto others. This primarily unconscious process prevents us from living fully.
In a Shadow Shifting workshop the creative process and use of archetypes helps discover and unmask our shadowy elements in order for us to acknowledge, accept, and integrate those parts so we can live more authentically.
Upcoming Workshop dates will be posted on this site.
