SOMATIC BASED EMPATHY AND AUTHENTIC SELF-EXPRESSION
In-depth seminar on non-violent communication according to Marshall Rosenberg
Would you like to be able to listen to your body better, overcome blockages and triggers more easily and gain deeper self-connection, serenity and insight?
Somatic-Based Empathy, a practice developed by Dian Killian, combines coaching and NVC-based, deep self-empathy practices to listen closely to the sensations in our body and to be able to name and recognize the associated feelings and needs. Non-verbal self-expression and empathic-authentic encounters anchor the transformation process in our body-mind continuum.
From this deep self-connection, we can not only be more mindful of our vulnerabilities and perhaps finally let go of old pain. We also learn to lovingly regulate ourselves and develop a new self-understanding that allows us to act with more self-confidence, clarity and inner freedom in our everyday lives.
The seminar will consist of a mixture of short content inputs, kinestetic and somatic self-awareness exercises, inner journeys and visualizations as well as mutual support and exchange in small groups and in plenary. There will also be numerous demos and exercises on specific applications of Somatic Based Empathy, including connecting with younger parts, decision making and listening directly to what the body wants to tell us that we would not grasp through the cognitive level. Elements from Kundalini Yoga, free and circle dance as well as improvised sound and singing together round off the deep holistic integration work.
The workshop will be held partly in English and translated into German.
