There's nothing quite like seeing the impact of your work come to life.

One of our proposal writers, Tom Wallace, recently attended UpBeat NYC's Community Concert, where students of all ages took the stage to perform music from the South Bronx and around the world.

As Tom shared:

"I enjoyed seeing the young people I'd written about in grant proposals actually perform—it's one thing to describe a program on paper, and another to watch these students play everything from Joseph Bologne to an original composition by their own principal cellist.
