New Paltz returns tomorrow but unfortunately it's supposed to rain all day, so no welding or lawn mower blade balancing/sharpening. The Zipper Fixer will be there from 12-2, though. And on Sunday Port Jervis returns.

Short but sweet this weekend--Newburgh and Rhinebeck! PLEASE NOTE: due to a 95% chance of all day rain on Saturday, welding will NOT be available in Rhinebeck. Vince's next appearance will be at the New Paltz Repair Cafe on Saturday, May 23rd, 10am - 2pm.

📰 Somers First Cafe a success--and in the Paper! 📰

Fantastic coverage once again from on the first Somers Repair Cafe in April. Local papers are disappearing all over the country, but from calendars to articles like this, they are so important for spreading word about grass roots initiatives like repair cafes. Journalists and editors across this country--thank you for your service!

Eco-minded folks got the chance recently to give their household items a second chance at life.

👵 🛠 May Repair Cafes 🛠👵

Warrensburg pivots to a new location for their May cafe due to needed repairs at their usual locale; we can respect that! Greenburgh moves to their local library and the Bethlehem cafe debuts in Delmar. New Paltz is also mixing things up by switching to the THIRD Saturday of the month instead of the second--so it will be happening May 23rd.

PLEASE NOTE: Welding will be cancelled if there is heavy precipitation.
