Holiday gift to self: the exhibition catalog for An Atlas of Es Devlin at . The book is a cabinet of curiosities, with an abundance of elaborate inserts, metallics, transparencies and die cuts, representing the creative process and spectacular work of its subject.

Last week I headed to FIT to help adjudicate the Graduate Exhibition and Experience Design thesis presentations. My favorite part, as in years past, was getting a look at the inventive and often dazzling scale models. Congrats to all the students on their fantastic projects!

My first museum project, 20-odd years ago, was a traveling exhibition for the Museum of the Moving Image, where I built interactive animations using Flash, a then-radical new technology. At the museum last week for , I was surprised and heartened to see that some of those original interactives are still in use (albeit slightly updated). Enjoyed the exhibit and the conference as well!
