Jackie Walters Consulting is partnering with the Clinton Kirkland Improvement Corporation - CKIC to provide dedicated strategic and operational capacity for their community enrichment and economic development work.

Building on the momentum of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative, this engagement is focused on turning board initiatives into executed projects and pursuing critical grant funding for the area.

As Mike Debraggio shared in our recent announcement, the goal right now is translation and ex*****on, taking great ideas and giving them the operational bandwidth they need to cross the finish line.

I am looking forward to working alongside the CKIC board and our local and regional partners to keep moving the Clinton and Kirkland community forward.

Jackie Lee Walters, former Clinton Chamber of Commerce, Executive Director, Vice President of Planning and Operations for M3 Placement and Partnership, and recent founder and CEO of Jackie Walters Consulting, will provide strategic and operational capacity to the CKIC board as it seeks to expand its economic development and community enrichment activities.

Jackie will enable us to get more done, to take the momentum created by the Downtown Revitalization Initiative grant program and pursue opportunities that will further enrich our community.

Debraggio said Walters is industrious, collaborative, and creative – someone who has demonstrated not just her fondness for the community but her commitment to moving it forward.

As stipulated in CKIC’s Bylaws, Walters has resigned her position as CKIC vice president in order to take on this new role. She began on July 1.

Connecting the dots is truly my favorite part of the work I do!

I’m often asked what "strategic partnerships" actually look like in practice. Sometimes, it’s as simple as making sure two incredible leaders are in the same room.

I loved connecting Carrie Byrne Putelo (Owner & Editor of Mohawk Valley Living) to Karen Knavel (President and CEO of Pathfinder Village (Community for Down syndrome).

Pathfinder Village is such an amazing community doing vital, life-changing work for individuals with Down syndrome. When you pair a mission like that with a storyteller like Carrie, who has such a deep pulse on our region, the entire community wins!

My favorite part of the job is making the "right" introductions.

It’s about more than just a meeting; it’s about connecting visionaries with the platforms that help them shine.

It was a pleasure to connect Tara Agen (the force behind ArtBlok and Flavored Layers Art Inc.) and Carrie Byrne Putelo of Mohawk Valley Living Magazine.
