Join Dayla Briceño as she shares how to discover systems that are actually yours (not just what worked for someone else), and how to know when something’s really working versus just looking good on paper.

*Parking on-site at The Flash Lady Photography, 51 Gilbert Rd, Newington, CT (driveway, in front) or on Lloyd Street (please do not drive up on the grass or cross over neighboring properties). We aim to respect our neighbors as much as possible, so carpooling is also recommended and encouraged!

Our group's mission is to bridge the gap between traditional networking and community building by focusing on topic discussion that we can ALL relate to! *Please JOIN this event as "GOING" if you plan to attend to help us determine seating and guest count! As this meeting is held in a working photography studio, we ask that you avoid bringing anything that may stain. Studio is located on the 2nd Floor (no elevator).

Is your website working for you as it should? Now is a great time to do a check-in, with some great tips from Janina Grayeb of generativereach . The most important questions to ask yourself:

- What do you offer?
- Who do you offer it to?
- Where do you offer it?
- How can they contact you?

If customers can't figure this out quickly, they may leave your website before realizing how great your are! Be sure that your website is working for you!

Kristin forgot to celebrate her 16 years in business on Monday, so today we are celebrating! Get to know a little more about the founder of WEB with this cute graphic. And if you want to know the place to her heart, just offer to meet up at a homemade ice cream or local hot spot and she'll be there! She loves to travel, camp, hike, and more with her husband and teen daughter. And of course, you'll always find her taking a photo of something! She just completed a major studio addition in 2025, where our meetings are now held. Supporting small businesses has always been an important goal, which is why she has worked so hard to promote our networking group and continue to help others. 📸

Your Website tells the Customer immediately who you are, what you do, where you serve, and if they want to work with you. Do you have to tools to give them this information thoroughly and allow newer search methods & AI to read your site?

We had a fantastic discussion with Janina Grayeb of generativereach about best practices when it comes to layout, calls to action, content, and more at our August Women's Empowerment in Business Networking Meetup.

As always, it was wonderful to see familiar and new faces! And we're already gearing up for a great fall lineup with our next regular meeting on 9/14 and our 1st ever Self Care Networking Retreat on 10/19! Stay tuned for more details on that and how to sign up!
