20 years ago today, I left my secure job at one of the largest accounting firms in the world to start my own business. I had 1 vision in mind- Use my accounting knowledge to help small businesses while providing opportunities for working professionals to have it all through
flexible schedules and work/life balance.

As a young child, I watched my dad struggle while running his own plastic injection mold company while most of my 11 siblings worked for him. I always had a knack for numbers and knew that someday, I would be able to help small businesses manage and navigate their finances so that they could be successful.

20 years ago it began, through word of mouth, we have been blessed to have provided accounting services to over 700 companies across the country. Our business is 100% remote and has been for the past 12+ years. We have 13 amazing professionals on our team many of which are working moms and dads balancing careers and while being a present parent.

At The Steadfast Group, we not only provide superior accounting services to our clients, but also I empower our professionals to create the lifestyle they want- they set their own schedules and work the hours that work best for their lifestyle. We have been able to attract and retain exceptional talent with no turnover in the past 4 years.

I'm beyond proud of our team and what we have accomplished!! Cheers to the next 20! 🎉🥂

19 years ago today, I started my own business. 😱 I wish I could say it all has been easy and there have been no bumps along the way- but that is not the case. Lots and lots of late nights and all-nighters, missed holidays, and many other sacrifices. But I knew that. At a very young age, I watched my dad and my siblings run a family business and I had the wonderful opportunity to experience first hand the highs and lows of entrepreneurship. There is no coincidence— I was born for this 💪🏻💪🏻 I have been preparing for running my own company since the time I was 5 years old and each day thereafter. Every decision, every mentor shaped my path to today! I absolutely LOVE being an advocate for small to medium sized businesses. I have had the pleasure of working with thousands of people and over 500 companies and am excited to continue to grow a platform that continues to have positive impact on people's lives.

I could not have done this alone and I am so thankful to my husband, Bob Peterson, for joining our team several years ago and taking our business to the next level! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I am so thankful for our incredible team of professionals who are the absolute BEST at what they do and I admire and respect so much! ❤️❤️

Although we will not be able to celebrate our success right now, I am hopeful that our 20 year celebration will make up for it! 🎉🎉
