🚗 Automobile Tip You May Not Have Tried
Check your tire pressure when the tires are cold—not right after driving.
Driving heats the tires and temporarily raises the pressure, so checking immediately afterward can give you a misleading reading.
💡 Best practice: Check them before driving or after the car has been parked for several hours, and use the pressure listed on the driver’s-door-jamb sticker, not the maximum PSI printed on the tire.
Proper tire pressure can improve handling, tire life, and fuel economy.
