We’re thrilled to welcome Kathryn Bertram as our new Director of Advocacy, based in Washington, D.C.!

Kathryn brings nearly 15 years of high-impact experience—from leading global campaigns, to designing data-driven strategies, to shaping communications & advocacy efforts at the national and state levels. In her new role, she will design and lead advocacy strategies for public- and private-sector clients and nonprofits, focusing on state and federal policy engagement, coalition building, and coordination of state-level programs across the country.

Her arrival marks a significant milestone for us: expanding our reach to the nation’s capital while doubling down on the integrated approach that defines Amber Integrated.

We’re excited to announce that Tate Smithhart is officially joining Amber Integrated full-time as an Associate! Tate impressed us during his internship with his sharp research, creativity, and can-do attitude — so we made sure not to let him get away.

An Arkansas native and Oklahoma City University grad (and national champion track star 🥇), Tate now brings his drive and energy to supporting AI clients across communications, strategy, and advocacy.

When he’s not diving into projects, you’ll probably find him outdoors — running, hiking, or cheering on the Razorbacks and OKC Thunder.
