UPDATED INFORMATION: The Board of Supervisors' meetings have been postponed due to the holiday yesterday! The dates I previously listed have been pushed back one week – please see the updated schedule below.

Join me at City Hall next week in support of this legislation that will incentivize productions to base in SF, bringing new business opportunities, employing our local workforce, and marketing the city on the global stage. We must generate and sustain long-term economic growth and investment, remain competitive in the global creative economy, and maintain our cinematic legacy. This legislation is good for Production.

Meetings:
• Tuesday, January 27 from 2pm-5pm (approx.)
• Tuesday, February 3 from 2pm-5pm (approx.)

Location: BOS Legislative Chamber Room 250, City Hall

You can also voice your support by submitting a public comment addressing the full Board (email to: [email protected]). Be sure to include the legislation’s File Number (File No. 251225) in your comments. Submission deadline is Monday, January 26.

Last month, I had the honor of accepting my fourth COLA award when I was named Location Manager of the Year (Stills) for my work with Shake Productions on the Banana Republic Holiday Campaign.

I’m so grateful to be part of this creative industry, and especially honored to have been nominated alongside my fellow location scouts. Our shared love for the beautiful state of California has remained steadfast through changing times. Huge thanks to the National Park Service and the City of San Francisco for making this project and countless other productions possible, as well as the California Film Commission and Film SF.

The governor wants to increase incentives to film and television to $750 million a year. Further changes may be on the way as the migration of production from the state borders on an exodus.
