Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois has filed a 15.5% rate increase with the Department of Insurance for 2027. Individual increases will vary by group and plan, but the filing is another indication that employers could be facing significant cost pressure heading into the upcoming renewal cycle.

Celebrating Pride at Sassetti 🌈

Our team came together to recognize Pride Month with an event centered on inclusion, connection, and belonging. It was a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, show support for our colleagues, shared slides highlighting the history of the LGBTQ+ movement, and reflect on the importance of creating a workplace where everyone feels seen, valued, and respected.

At Sassetti, inclusion is part of how we continue to grow together. We are proud to celebrate Pride and stand with the LGBTQ+ community, this month and every month.

This morning, our team traded spreadsheets for shovels and spent the day volunteering with the organization Avenues to Independence (https://bit.ly/4eew9in). Together, we rolled up our sleeves to remove weeds and help refresh the outdoor spaces that residents enjoy every day.

We're grateful for the opportunity to support an organization that does such meaningful work in our community and to spend time giving back alongside our colleagues.

A big thank you to everyone who volunteered and helped make the day a success. Sometimes the best team-building happens outside the office!

We were excited to welcome talented accounting students to our office for a day of learning, networking, and hands-on experience. Through interactive sessions, team discussions, and real-world insights, students had the opportunity to explore the many career paths available in public accounting and gain a firsthand look at life at Sassetti.

From connecting with our professionals to participating in friendly competition and collaborative activities, the day was filled with meaningful conversations, valuable lessons, and plenty of fun.
