Candida Ain’t No Joke, Sis! 😩🔥

If you’ve ever had a yeast infection, you already KNOW. It’s a MF-er. And if you’re pregnant? Oh, it’s even worse. They say it’s the hormones... I say it’s disrespectful AF. 🙄

Doctors be out here like, “Try this.” Holistic midwives? They put me on Yin Care, and yeah, it works—but that price tag?! Nah. And when you need relief NOW... you need relief NOW.

So I made my own and babyyy, it WORKED. 🙌🏾

🚿 HERBAL VAGINAL RINSE & DOUCHE🚿
💨 Calendula– Fights fungus, cools irritation 🌼
💜 Lavender– Kills microbes, calms stress (candida feeds on stress, girl!)
🌿 Chamomile– Gut healer & anti-inflammatory
💩 Cascara Sagrada– Candida HATES this one 😆
🍒 Uva Ursi– Knocks out vaginal & UTI infections 💀
🌾 Yarrow– Detox QUEEN👑 Tightens & cleanses
🔥 Oregano– The candida SNIPER 🎯💀

📝How I Used It:
💦 Douched in the shower & rinsed after every bathroom trip.
🌿 Followed up with a DIY mix of coconut oil + peppermint EO + oregano EO + fresh aloe (straight from the garden ✨).

Other Keys to Winning the Fight:
🚫 Cut out sugar, alcohol (wine & beer especially), & refined carbs.
✅ Add fermented foods, probiotics, unsweetened cranberry juice & SEA MOSS (keeps your immune system on 10).

**CHECK IN WITH YA MIDWIFE OR HERBALIST FIRST!** ⚠️ Some of these herbs need precautions in pregnancy. That’s why I love rinses & douches—quick, effective, & easier than sitz baths.

Share and if you are brave, tag a sis who needs this info & save this post for later! 🫶🏾✨

What ya used for yeast infections? Any questions?! Would you try this?

🌟 Help Support a BIPOC Midwife! 🌟

I need your help to raise $2000 for travel and lodging to send me, a dedicated BIPOC midwife, to the Born Free Twin Breech Conference. 🏨✈️

This conference is a fantastic opportunity to empower and uplift midwives, ensuring better care and representation in our communities. 🌍👶🏽

Why should you donate and share this post? Your contribution will help provide essential training and networking opportunities for a midwife who will bring valuable knowledge and skills back to our community. This investment will lead to improved maternal and child health outcomes, especially for underrepresented groups like babies born breech and/or multiples. 🌟💪🏽

Every dollar and share counts! 🙌✨ See below how to donate and make a difference today. And also please share!!! Together, we can support midwives and create a brighter future! ❤️🌱

🤰🏾If I were to get pregnant, I would not be abled to afford out of hospital birth care.

FULL 🛑 STOP

As a low risk, healthy midwife, this is loco because, giving birth out of the hospital is the medically safest place for me and my baby as an AfroIndigenous person.

Not only are we undervalued by health insurance, the government, respected medical professionals, we are also thought as free femme labor by (some folks) in our own community.

It’s so sad but when your hire a midwife like me we do a lot like:

Massages, blood and urine analysis, consults, nutrition counseling, herbal and homeopathy, emotional support, education, on call for your entire pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum period. We control hemorrhages, perineal and pelvic health support and even support with lactation. We do your birth certificates, postpartum baths and closing and you can literally contact us at any time about anything.

It’s a job that keeps on giving and as a community we need to make sure we just ain’t TAKING.

To support the beautiful struggle, please considering buying my signature shirt: “I work for freedom, not for free.” Your support helps folks who can’t afford my direct services and supports community midwifery.

Hi, my name is Juju Angeles 🪬 and I am a poverty scholar. I provide sliding scale Traditional Birth Attendant support worldwide. Please listen to the video, because 💎 are being DROPPED.

I want to say a little bit about the inaccessibility of birthing outside the system.

We know how expensive it is to birth and I also know that no dollar amount can purchase the wellbeing of the
birthing person, mother, father, partner, or baby. We cannot solely think about the financial part, and yet, Capitalism is a very real part of just being on this planet.

Rent, gas, time, clean water, organic food, healthcare, educational, continuing education, licensure, credentialing, and breaks are an essential part of my livelihood and I wound not be abled to do anything if it wasn't for the scholarship and real ass support from and the monthly donors I have.

The journey to even become a midwife is very ghetto. And as a baby mama on foodstamps, there seems to be no
way for us.
I
We MUST sustain midwives in order to sustain midwifery. WE are worth more than $10K + per birth and yet I
know that most of us cannot afford that. I am committed and dedicated to provided sliding scale support, but I am
not committed to doing it alone or to the detriment of my health nor of my daughters.

One of the recent things that makes me mad is that folks with access and privilege, are the ones who are unwilling to pay what this work is worth. The idea that because it is natural and therefore, doesn't need to be compensates is MESSED up. No matter the way your baby is born, our work is sacred and we deserve to have lives that we can afford.

Colonial has a lot of y'all believing that our work isn't important and doesn't deserve to be compensated correctly
and that makes me sad, mad, angered, and annoyed. If you have it, why wouldn't you support the work?

I work for FREEDOM, not for free.

To support the work, check the link in my bio. Become a monthly donor if you are called to it or drop a one time
donation.

I have merchandise for sale and donation links on my website: www.Babymamahood.com

It feels so sweet to know that folks are interested in Writing the Womb and have been waiting for such an intentional poetry writing workshop.

Unfortunately, not everyone who wants & need this are willing & abled to invest in this class. (Tickets are selling fast and I don’t hold seats because this is a one woman production so sign up ASAP… but I digress…)

Three folks have reached out needing full scholarships, so I am not only creating the curriculum but I am also raising funds for full scholarships.

Help them by helping me spread the word and by donating to this scholarship fund. They would really appreciate it. I have already gave seats to single moms of color for free, so now it’s the universe’s turn.

Please share this fundraiser and give below stating “WTW FUND.”
