Start with a coach who has spent a lifetime figuring out how the human voice works. A performer as well as a voice expert, he has studied with dozens and dozens of voice & music teachers, choral directors, vocal and performance coaches. He wrote the book on it. And he still performs, [and like all excellent performers, continues to get coached himself!] so the teaching comes from someone who does the thing.
Then make it work for the music you love. Pop, classical, musical theatre, jazz, country, barbershop, gospel, R&B. One voice handles all of it when you understand how the instrument works. Healthy. Sustainable. The same goes for speaking, since the stage and the boardroom use the same voice.

The work starts from what your voice already does well and builds from there. And both of you stay fully present, because nobody is scribbling notes or trying to memorize six exercises mid-session.

What you worked on, the exercises for your week, what your voice did well, plus any recordings or sheet music you need. Practice gets easier because you know exactly what to do and why. Over time the notes become a running record of your growth. Included free with every lesson.
