Your “I have nothing to post” excuse? GONE! ✌🏼Save this for the next time you find excuses creeping back.
5 things you can post when nothing new is happening:
1️⃣Answer a question you get asked consistently.
If three people asked you, more people are wondering! My clients often ask what they should post when there’s nothing happening (hello, seasonal businesses). The short answer: there is SO much to post in the off-season, including these ideas!
2️⃣Reshare a past project, win, or customer story.
Show people you’ve done this before AND done it well! Testimonials, results, analytics, before-and-afters, past projects, and customer wins all remind your audience you know what’s up.
3️⃣ Show one part of your process people don’t normally get to see.
What feels boring to you is interesting to us AND builds trust! Putting a flower bouquet together? Show us! Packing up orders to send to customers? Let us in. Give people a peek at what goes into the work they normally only see finished.
4️⃣Share your take on something happening in your industry.
Anyone can list what they do. Not everyone can explain what a change in the industry means for the people it affects. Sharing your perspective builds authority and trust and helps people choose you based on quality, not just price!
5️⃣Remind people about a service or offer you haven’t talked about lately.
You’re the only one who thinks you’ve posted about it too much! Name the offer or service, who it’s for, and what they should do next. The people who need it may not have seen it yet OR they weren’t ready to take action when they saw it last.
You don’t need new happenings to have something worth posting! 🙌🏼 You just need to look at what you already do, know and offer and turn that into content.
