Last week offered a new perspective as we led Michigan Soybean Committee to explore the food-grade soybean sector abroad. Our travels took us to Japan and South Korea, where we met with customers using Michigan-grown food-grade soybeans in products like tofu, soy milk, and natto.
It was insightful to hear not only what our customers value, but also what their end users expect when purchasing soy-based foods. Understanding these preferences helps strengthen our role in delivering high-quality, identity-preserved soybeans to global markets.
