Way to Stay Homecare is a locally owned, non-medical homecare company for seniors. We provide fully insured and bonded caregivers to come into the home and help seniors remain independent. We assist our clients with the following services: companion care, medication reminders, activities of daily living, transportation, meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, and range of motion exercises. Our loc

al team of senior experts will help you navigate the complicated options and come up with a way to stay home. We will help you understand and utilize long-term Care insurance, VA aid and attendance and look for other options to help pay for the care you need.

We did a little office team building last week on the river. We planned it for a few weeks and wouldn’t you know the weather decided to try and ruin our day! We pivoted and hung out under the awning instead. We just relaxed, ate lunch, listening to good music and tried to be still and enjoy each others company.. In our industry we don’t get to do that very often, it’s usually very chaotic. Then after lunch the weather cleared and we got to go for Airboat rides!! (Some say Katie is a better Airboat driver than a car driver but I wouldn’t tell her that! 🤭)

This week we also hosted our staff who have been here a year or more to come and renew their Skills Competencies! We did several small groups in multiple stations to maintain Way to Stay Homecare’s excellent standard of care at all levels of skills. Our Administrator, Julie Harding Laughlin, RN, and our Director of Nursing, Alysha Smid-DiMauro, RN, organized and coordinated the training. (We always wish we took more pictures, just about 70 crew members joined today) Bonus: It was a great day to cook for our crew as well!! 🩵🩵🩵
