Physical acts:
âś…Hitting, pushing, tripping, choking, or damaging property.
Communications:
âś…Written, verbal, or electronic threats, name-calling, taunting, or spreading rumors.
Exclusion:
âś…Repeatedly and purposefully shunning a student from activities.
Cyberbullying:
âś…Electronic transmissions intended to coerce, abuse, or intimidate minors, which can carry criminal penalties under
R.S. 14:40.7
(up to six months in jail and/or a $500 fine).
