If your goal is to pay yourself $150k-$300k per year (not in top line revenue but take home pay), you do NOT need this level of complication within your business model and offers. You are stressing yourself out unnecessarily.

When you step away for a few months, the fear isn’t really about being inactive…

it’s about coming back and feeling disconnected from what your clients have been living through while you were gone.

I knew 4 months was a long time in business. A lot can change. Results happen. Problems come up. Decisions get made.

And I didn’t want my clients using their coaching time just to get me caught up to speed when I return.

That puts pressure on them, and it slows down the work we’re there to do.

So instead of trying to stay active…
I focused on staying connected.

Every week, my clients submit a short check-in form with updates on:
• what’s working
• where they need support
• progress they’re making
• decisions they’re navigating

It keeps me informed without needing to be in the day-to-day, and it makes the transition back feel smooth instead of overwhelming, for them and for me.

Maternity leave doesn’t have to mean disappearing. You just need a way to keep a pulse on what your clients are building while you’re gone.

Before giving birth, I thought I needed to prepare for every possible scenario.

Freezer meals.
The nursery perfectly set up.
A hospital bag packed weeks in advance.
Every baby product recommended online.

I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss anything.

But after actually being in the newborn stage, something became really clear:

Babies need far less than the internet makes it seem.

They need warmth. Food. Sleep. Diapers. And you. 🤎Everything else can be figured out as you go.

Everyone talks about scaling. Few talk about what it actually takes.

I needed to commit to the one that had already been working… and actually back it with structure.

So I chose one offer.
For the whole year.

I tightened the promise, made it sharper, simpler, easier to say. I stripped out the over customization that was in the delivery. Cut the team down. Cleaned up how we sell it.

And then I did the part I’d been avoiding:
I started saying publicly what was already true privately.

Clients were getting the results. The offer was doing its job. I just wasn’t letting the messaging reflect that yet.

I didn’t raise the price. I reframed the value. Not more access. Not more features. Just clearer positioning around what actually creates the result.

And that shift, that strategic commitment to the thing that already worked, turned into the most profitable year I’ve ever had.

Because I finally treated what I had… like it was enough.

I didn’t realize how much explaining I’d feel pressured to do until I got pregnant.

The moment your body changes, your choices start to feel like public property.

But pregnancy doesn’t erase autonomy or individuality, and motherhood doesn’t have to replace who you are.

Some women don’t want to work anymore. Some still do. Some never had the choice in the first place.

There isn’t a right way, just different realities.

You be deeply excited about becoming a mother and still connected to your work, your mind, and doing the things that make you, YOU.
