One of my favorite reminders for parents:

You don’t need a playroom full of toys to support development.

Something as simple as bubbles can encourage visual tracking, reaching, movement, communication, and connection, all while feeling like play.

And honestly? Most babies and toddlers think bubbles are pure magic. 🫧

If you are looking for a fun bubble play set, InnoBaby | Innovative Baby & Kids Products has a one that also promotes coordination practice!

But if I’m being honest, this reel is a little uncomfortable for me to post 🙈

As an eldest daughter, accomplishments were often expected. Get good grades. Go to college. Go to grad school. Work hard. Keep going.

So somewhere along the way, I stopped pausing to acknowledge my achievements because my brain was already focused on the next thing.

The next client.
The next group.
The next presentation.
The next goal.

But since it’s Motherhood Milestone Monday, here’s a reminder that milestones aren’t just for babies.

Sometimes the milestone is recognizing how far you’ve come.

A 8 years ago, I was a new mom struggling with postpartum anxiety, feeling isolated, and trying to figure out who I was outside of caring for everyone else.

Today, I get to support moms, babies, and clinicians through the work I’ve built.

And for once, I’m trying to pause long enough to be proud of that.

Whether you are new here or have been here a while, or have worked with me 1:1 or in a group, thank you for letting me be part of your motherhood journey 🫶

Tell me: what’s a milestone you’ve accomplished recently that you haven’t given yourself enough credit for? 🤍

One of the most common things I hear from new parents is:

“But what am I actually supposed to do with my baby all day?” 👶🏻

And honestly? That’s a fair question.

There isn’t a handbook that comes home from the hospital telling you how to support your baby’s development, what milestones to look for, or how to make play feel natural instead of another thing on your to-do list.

That’s exactly why I created my mom & baby groups.

Not because every baby needs therapy.

But because every parent deserves education, support, and a place to ask questions.

A place where you can learn simple ways to support your baby’s development, connect with other moms, and leave feeling a little more confident than when you arrived.

Because motherhood wasn’t meant to be figured out alone. 🤍

POV: You’re standing in the baby aisle convincing yourself that this bottle will be the one. 😅

If you’ve got a bottle-refusing baby, I see you.

Sometimes it’s not that your baby won’t take a bottle, it’s that they haven’t found the right match yet.

🍼 Different ni**le shapes
🍼 Different flow rates
🍼 Different oral motor needs

Follow Armi Grace | Occupational Therapist | Chicago Moms & Babies for feeding tips from an OT + mom of 3 who has seen (and owned) way too many baby bottles. 😂

These are some of my favorite feeding tools from ezpz Baby Feeding Products

AND they’re the same products I use in my Starting Solids classes to help families build confidence and feeding skills.

I love that EZPZ now offers feeding kits designed for different stages, making it easier to know what to use as your baby grows.

Comment “EZPZ” and I’ll send you links to my favorite products! 🤍
