I am honored to share that I recently partnered with Jennifer Brogee to publish our first paper, titled "When Nonprofits Flounder: Practical Strategies for Cultivating Board Engagement and Courageous Followership." As founders of nonprofit and for-profit organizations, Jennifer and I, despite working in different states and pursuing different missions, discovered striking similarities in the challenges we faced. These shared experiences inspired us to explore and recommend actionable strategies to cultivate courageous followership and advance organizational purpose and community impact.

Guided by Ira Chaleff's courageous followership model, our paper presents evidence-based strategies for nonprofit leaders to encourage board members, executives, and staff to practice courageous followership. This concept is defined as wholehearted engagement in ethically supporting one another while holding one another accountable to the organization's mission. The article appears in The Research Roundtables Journal through the Regent University School of Business & Leadership.

We are deeply grateful to Dr. Mike Linville and Dr. Patricia Johnson at Indiana Wesleyan University for their thoughtful feedback, to Dr. Robert Huizinga and Dr. Michael Ferber for chairing the roundtable, and to Dr. Bruce Winston for his service as journal editor. I also extend special appreciation to Ezekiel Leonard, whose invaluable feedback continues to motivate and encourage me.

This week Grant Staff Inc. earned over $3,000,000 for our clients. It is absolutely amazing when grants that large come in. But, honestly, the grant for $250 this week which will provide food for local families, is just as much needed, and life-changing. To our staff that consistently gives everything to earn these awards, and works through lunch because besides writing and submitting grants they are sorting 3000 toys that are heading out to the local community this week and next. So proud and honored to work with you all!

Mission Meals is kicking-off our busiest time of year. For our friends, so many need extra food this month and we are trying to help as many additional families as we can. If you would like to help, gift cards to food stores are amazing. It allows the famies to purchase the items that are not donated such as eggs-milk-cheese, etc.

Mission Meals provides resouces and gives our community friends hope and caring. We are incredibly thankful for our donors and volunteers, together we are making a difference. I am honored and grateful for you all 🍁🍁🍁
