I have been lucky enough to build this companies website and invest in them. They make amazing handcrafted cards for any occasion!!

There's a drawer in your house, Or a shoebox, or the back of a closet. And more than likely there are cards in it. From a wedding, a new baby, a funeral, a first job, Father's Day, Mother's Day, etc... Somebody sat down, wrote your name, put a stamp on it, and mailed it to you.
That's why it's still there.

A thank you card isn't a slower thank you text. It's a different thing entirely. A text says I remembered. A card says I stopped what I was doing and thought about you.

Two minutes. One stamp. Kept for twenty years. Some things shouldn't get more efficient.

An insurance estimate is a starting point—not the final word. 🚗⚡️

When an insurance estimate comes through, it usually covers the obvious surface damage. But a skilled estimator knows that safe, proper repairs live in the teardown details.

Comparing the insurer's initial estimate against a thorough shop blueprint isn't just about finding extra line items, it's about precision, safety, and protecting your shop's bottom line.

Where the gap usually lives:

Unseen Structural Damage: Teardowns and pre-scans reveal critical issues that photo-based claims miss.
Required OEM Procedures: Documenting factory-mandated steps that keep vehicle warranties and safety systems intact.
ADAS Recalibrations: Crucial sensor alignments that are frequently overlooked on initial write-ups.
Realistic Labor & Materials: Ensuring your shop gets paid fairly for every minute and paint/material unit standard repairs actually require.

Missing these line items means either absorbing costs or compromising on repair quality. Blueprinting every job thoroughly ensures your shop is compensated for the actual work required to put a safe vehicle back on the road.

How does your team handle estimate discrepancies with adjusters?

OEM PROCEDURE OF THE WEEK § Repair planning cannot rely on visual damage alone.

A trailer hitch can pass a walk-around and still be a mandatory replacement.

GM's current collision position statement (June 23, 2026) rules out repairing damaged trailer hitches on Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac vehicles. Replacement with the genuine OE assembly is the only approved path. The reason: hitches carry load. Damage that compromises attachment integrity does not show up in a routine inspection — or in a photo.
That is the entire case against photo-based repair planning, in one part.

When the estimate is built off what a camera can see, the hitch gets written as a repair or left off the sheet. The shop either eats the correction later or the vehicle leaves with a load-path defect nobody can see.

The answer isn't arguing. It's documentation. Pull the current position statement, date it, attach it to the line it supports, and pair it with Wisconsin's fair settlement standard — Wis. Admin. Code § Ins 6.11(3)(a)4.

Scanning, calibrations, corrosion protection — same logic. The procedure exists because the damage doesn't always photograph.
