Frank J. Paolantonio a lifelong resident of Sleepy Hollow passed away on August 22, 2019. He was 94. Frank worked as a sheet metal worker for local #38 during his entire career. He was born July 11, 1925 in North Tarrytown to Vincenzo and Lucia Galgano Paolantonio. He was educated in the North Tarrytown Public Schools. Frank served with the United States Marine Corp as a Sergeant during World War II in the Pacific. He belonged to the VFW, Washington Irving Boat Club and had served as Fire Chief for the North Tarrytown Fire Dept., member of Columbia Hose Co #3. Frank also had served on the zoning board for the Village of Sleepy Hollow. He enjoyed rooting for the NY Football Giants his entire life, fishing and family. He is survived by one brother Angelo, nieces and nephews. Family members who died earlier include his parents, brothers Victor, Anthony and James, longtime companion Margaret Rutiglan. Funeral Mass Immaculate Conception Church, Sleepy Hollow on Monday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to John G. Crawford Funeral Director.com

2) January- 3rd Thursday Free dinner for seniors - residents in need Sleepy Hollow at Community Opportunity Center all are welcome fed 53 residents on going.
3) January-Tarrytown senior new car Battery
4) January-Sleepy Hollow resident Hardship 4 new car tires. Partnered w/ Corsi Tire
5) Croton family medical Hardship emergency oil delivery.
6) January - young man's electronics stolen out of gym locker at school, Gullotta House replaced it.
7)January-Ossining man's tragic death $250 go fund me donation. R.I.P. Greg
8)February- Disabled Ossining resident Emergency fuel Deliery- partnered w/Palisades Fuel
9) February -Presented 3 New Rochelle families facing Hardships $2,100 $700 each check. Partnered with Iona college and athletics Department from our Lift-O-Ween event. Thank you again Steve Furman
10) February-Yonkers family who was burnt out of there apartment in December Gullotta House arranged and paid for transportation and lunch and a gift card to Iona college so the mom and 8 year could spend an afternoon with the athletes. Thank you Steve Furman.
10-B Gullotta House Served and supplied food 1 night for 15 Homeless residents at St. Ann's.
11)White Plains resident facing Hardship, provided food and Gift card and compassion, partnered with Tarrytown Community Opportunity Center.
11-B Donation $600 to Sleepy Hollow Recreation youth Scholarship fund.
12) February- $2,850 emergency support for Westchester family facing severe Hardship.
13) February- $1,700 to Traveling homeless emeegency shelter in Ossining, Briarcliff, Croton, Mt. Kisco.
14) February- $500 To Young family in honor of Mr. Fred Young very unexpected passing great Volunteer in community. Family gave Check to St. Ann's Church. Fred's wishes R.I.P Fred.
15) February- Presented check to Mr. John Crawford for $250 to Baker Collyer Cheer. Holiday food Baskets for needy.
16) February - $250 spot light Dance Scholarship in Yorktown to help young women excel.
17) February 20th taking Approx 120 Children for free with food vouchers to Westchester Knicks basketball game at county Center with Fan experiences and give-a-ways.
18) In May we will present scholarships for at least $2,000 to Ossining High School students who have volunteered in the community and with Gullotta House and are going on to college.
19) Gullotta House helps Westchester Domestic violence victim start over again.

Teodora “Dora" Conte a longtime resident of Ossining passed away on September 26, 2018 in Campobasso, Italy. She was 57. Dora was born December 6, 1960 in Sassinoro, Italy to Modestino and Vera Tracanna Conte. She graduated from Ossining High School class of 1979. She was married to Paolo Arienzano. Surviving are her husband, parents and two brothers Frank and Mario Conte. Memorial Mass Saturday, September 29, 2018, 11:00 am at St. Augustine Church, Ossining.

Florence M. Canero of Somers formerly of Ossining passed away on September 19, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was 75. Florence was born April 15, 1943 in Ossining to Robert and Arlene Rose. She was a graduate of Croton Harmon High School. In 1960 she married the love of her life, Charles M. Canero, Sr. in Briarcliff Manor. Flo was a life member of the Millwood Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and the Hudson Valley Volunteer Fire Association Ladies Auxiliary. Member of the “Happy Wanderers” of Yorktown and was an Election Inspector. She is survived by her husband Charles Canero Sr., Children Janice Canero, Diana (Walter) Quast, Kathleen (Joseph) Calcutti, Brenda (Chris) Canero, Charles, Jr. (Beth-Anne) Canero, Jennifer (Matt) Scarduzio, Brian Canero, Abigail and Bullet, her mother Arlene Rose, two sisters Lisa and Roberta and one brother Robert. Funeral Mass Monday, September 24th at St. Augustine Church, Ossining. Interment Private. Memorial contributions to the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, 100 Woods Rd.,Valhalla. Irene Y. Bauso of Briarcliff Manor, NY died on April 20, 2018. She was 81. Irene was born January 30, 1937 in Gourin, France to Louis and Angele Le Roux Pensivy. On February 14, 1960 she married John Bauso at St. Vincent de Paul Church In New York City. John died November 10, 2010. Irene enjoyed gardening, watching old movies and spending time with her family. She is survived by one son John A. Bauso, one daughter Michele Prechtl and four grandchildren. Funeral Mass Thursday 10:00 am at Church of the Magdalene, Pocantico Hills. Interment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to John G. Crawford Funeral Director.
