We had the whole crew working hard on a big underground exclusion project — but wow! What a beautiful place to spend the workday! 😍

We’re so grateful for this hardworking team. They’re out there every day doing the tough, dirty work and making sure every mitigation project is installed to the absolute highest standards.

And just as important? They take pride in making it look good, too. 👏

👀 Well… hello down there! 🦨

Sometimes the biggest part of a wildlife inspection is figuring out what’s happening where you can’t see it.

This little guy created quite the highway underneath this porch. From the surface, you might see a hole and assume, “Just close that up.” But sealing the obvious opening doesn’t do much good when an animal can simply dig a new one a few feet away. And if you accidentally trap one of these guys under your structure, you'll end up with a WAAAAY stinkier problem!! 🤢

That’s why we recommend underground exclusion. We install heavy-duty 16 gauge welded wire in a hand-dug trench 12 inches down and 12 inches out, creating a permanent barrier that prevents wildlife from digging their way back underneath. And of course, by using our one-way doors, we make sure the current resident has a safe way OUT. ❤️

It's HARD, labor intensive work, but worth it because it works! And unlike paying trappers to trap and euthanize animals year after year, our solution is non-lethal and permanent.

Happy to have some dry weather today—even if it’s just for a few hours! 🌤️ Our guys were out working hard today, and we couldn’t help but notice all the storm damage around Central Ohio. 😞

Downed trees and missing shingles are easy to spot, but it’s often the little things that catch our attention: a piece of soffit pulled loose, damaged fascia, a shifted vent, lifted siding or a small gap along the roofline.

To us, those aren’t just storm damage—they’re opportunities for wildlife. 🦝🐿️🦇
A small opening may be all it takes for a squirrel, bat, bird or raccoon to decide your home looks like a pretty great place to move in.
The good news? Catching it now is SO much easier (and cheaper!) than catching it after someone moves in.

Repairing a small opening now can mean avoiding an eviction later—not to mention chewed wiring, damaged HVAC, contaminated insulation, nesting material, urine and f***s, or even a wildlife latrine that needs to be cleaned up. 🤢
As you’re checking your property for storm damage this week, look at your home through a wildlife’s eyes. If the weather created an opening, there’s a good chance something else will eventually find it.

Just another (slightly stinky) day at the office... 🦨😂 This curious little skunk somehow managed to get its head stuck in a garage door track and couldn't back itself out. Not exactly the kind of situation you want to tackle on your own!
Fortunately, Adam was able to safely free our striped friend without anyone getting sprayed. (We'll call that a win!)
Wildlife can get into some pretty unusual predicaments, and that's why we're here. Whether it's a skunk in a garage, bats in an attic, or squirrels in the soffits, our goal is always the same: solve the problem safely, professionally, and without harming the animal.
Today's office had a bit of an odor... but everyone went home happy. 🦨💚

🦇 "I thought I had to wait until August to call..."

We hear this ALL the time.

Yes, Ohio's bat eviction season doesn't begin until August, but that doesn't mean you should wait until then to schedule an inspection!! In fact, now is the best time to have your home inspected.

A professional inspection allows us to:

There’s just something so so special about celebrating the Fourth of July in a small town. The flags lining Main Street 🇺🇸 Kids scrambling for candy at the parade. 🍬Neighbors waving from lawn chairs. It's a reminder that the heart of America has always been found in communities like ours. 🤍💙❤️

This weekend meant even more to us because our entire family drove over two hours to spend the holiday with us and cheer us on during the parade!! Seeing them along the route reminded us how blessed we are—not just with our business, but with the people who've supported us every step of the way.

When Adam started TLC Wildlife Management, it wasn't just about building a company. It was about building something our family could be proud of, serving our neighbors with honesty, treating wildlife with compassion, and trying to leave our community a little better than we found it.

The Division of Wildlife is asking for the public's help in reporting injured bats or bat mortalities in Ohio. In recent years, they have seen what appears to be a significant increase in bat pup deaths, and researchers are working to determine if there is a common cause or contributing factor.

If you've recently found a bat inside your home, discovered one near an entry door or window, or are seeing bats flying around your roofline at dusk, it may be worth taking a closer look. Bats commonly utilize chimneys, wall voids, attics, soffits, ridge vents, and other areas of homes and buildings as roosting sites and nursery colonies.

Many homeowners assume a single bat indoors is an isolated incident, but in some cases it can be the first indication of a colony living within the structure 🫣

Our team specializes in non-lethal bat inspections, eviction, and exclusion work designed to safely remove bats from homes while protecting Ohio's native bat populations.
