Our summer Scholastic Book Fair starts tomorrow, May 11th, and runs through May 13th. The hours are 10 am-4:30 pm on the 11th, 8:30 am-4:30pm on the 12th, and 8:30 am-noon on the 13th.

We are excited to announce that through careful planning, fundraising and Scholastic Dollars our school has earned, Scootney PTSO will provide one book per student at no cost! Each student will receive a voucher and attend the fair with their class to choose their book.

Please visit the Scootney Book Fair homepage below to preview the book fair, purchase books, and sign your students up for e-Wallet to make cashless purchases while they are at school! E-Wallet can also be shared with family and friends who'd like to contribute to your student's book fair fun. Feel free to come and shop with your student during our open hours.

💜 Hello, families! Scootney PTSO is excited to offer an Italian Soda and Cold Brew fundraiser on Thursday, Feb. 12th during school pick-up! ❤️

Fundraiser Details:
- Italian Sodas: $2
- Cold Brew Coffee: $3
- Time: 3:20–4:00 PM (or while supplies last)
- Location: School pick-up area

We’ll be featuring festive flavors like Sweetheart Strawberry and Cupid’s Blue Crush! 💕 🩵

Please remember to send cash with your student if they’d like to participate, or you can use our PTSO Venmo. If you choose Venmo, please include your child's full name and grade in the venmo message. The 5th annual Scootney Color Run is tomorrow, Monday, October 20th! Come out and support this school-wide event and see the book-themed classes run and work together!

Parents/guardians are welcome to come help out at the color run and cheer your students on. 🙂 Please sign in at the main office before heading out to the color course on the field. Also, don’t forget to send in any 💵 donations with your student or to the front office; tomorrow is the last day to turn in them in!

Race times:

Kinder-2nd grade: 12:35-1:10 🏃‍♂️
3rd-6th: 2:10-2:50 🏃‍♀️

Our fall Scootney Scholastic Book Fair is next week, Oct. 21-23rd, during conferences! The book fair will be held in classroom C-8 after school on Tuesday, Oct. 21st, during school on Wednesday, Oct. 22nd, and all day until 3:30 pm on Thursday, Oct. 23rd.
