Day 1 of Gary Con in the books… and Day 2 of being here for us—and I’m honestly just feeling incredibly grateful.

What a blessing and opportunity it is to be here alongside Rose Estes, helping support her, her work, and being part of something that has meant so much to so many people for so many years.

I’ve been introduced to a whole world I didn’t fully understand before (and still truly don't) — but I do understand more about the why....The gaming, storytelling, and the incredible community that helped build Dungeons & Dragons into what it is today. And what stands out the most? The people.

Kind. Welcoming. Passionate. Creative.
And just genuinely HAPPY to be here.

It’s been such a cool and humbling experience meeting so many individuals who share a love for imagination, adventure, and storytelling.

Housing looks different for a lot of people right now — and that’s okay.

Home sharing is one option more Oregonians are exploring as a way to make better use of existing homes, create connection, and support housing stability without building more.

Across Oregon, there are millions of unused spare bedrooms. Programs like HomeShare Oregon help match people who have extra space with people who need a place to live — thoughtfully, safely, and with community at the center.

This isn’t for everyone — but it is an option many don’t realize exists.
