🌞 This Is What 20+ Years in Solar Looks Like.

When you’ve spent over two decades helping families and farms across the Midwest go solar, you learn that every project tells a story.

This one belongs to Scott Friested and his family at Friested Farms in Morris, IL - a multigenerational farming operation where the Friested family has worked the land for over 70 years. Bob, the patriarch, is heading into his 71st year of growing crops. His son Scott and granddaughter Marissa carry the legacy forward every day.

Five years ago, SPM founder Dave Sonner partnered with the Friested family to design and install a comprehensive solar and electrical integration system for their farm - one powerful enough to run the entire operation, including their own on-site seed dryer. Most farms outsource seed drying at significant cost.

Not this one.

The system hasn’t missed a beat since.

We recently brought in the GG Marketing LLC production team to capture this incredible story on camera. These are some of the first images from our time on-site. More to come.

This so simple, powerful, and awakening. She explains this so well / 1/3-1/3-1/3 rule of life= LOVE THE BAD DAYS AS SAYS YOU ARE TRYING TO GROW!! Very similar to Bruce Lee in that - true growth, true high level character is built in solitude, in silence when their is no distractions, and no one watching. We have built an incredible relationship with their ownership over the years, and we were honored to be called in to upgrade the windows at their second location!

What makes this even more special is that the owner of Bradley Mowers is now a SIX-time customer over the years.

It all started with solar five years ago after being referred to me by another business owner and friend. Since then, we’ve completed:

* Solar installation
* Commercial windows at 3 different locations
* 2 ComEd Energy Efficiency Program projects

Relationships, trust, and delivering results matter — and this is exactly why referrals and repeat customers mean so much. We have many customers that are 3 , 4 and 5 time customers. He is the first 6 time customer!!!
