Who loves learning how to make life easier?
Isn't it a pain that live and learn is soooo daaang slooow?!

The primary reason I wrote Wait, What?! for young adults (age 15 - 25) is that during those ten years of our lives, we think we're ready, know what we're doing, and have energy to the moon to take on challenges.

But as life plays out randomly, we learn that we don't know s*&t about a lot of stuff, we're making a bunch of mistakes and damnit—life is not easy!

If you are not a young adult anymore (but you know them, have them in the household, or influence them in school or work), check out the Summary and Quick-Action Guide for Wait, What?!

I wrote this 8-page pamphlet to give key takeaways that can be immediately applied without reading the book. Maybe it's enough to encourage someone to get the book for all the details and my stories. :-)

First, Wait, What?! showed up on multiple lists as a new release (the screenshots are from August 22), which is pretty cool!

So, this happened in 24 hours, starting at 8:00 am yesterday (Wed, Aug 21)...
It proves what a hard launch (coordinated effort for sales) can do.

Wait, What?! soft launched on August 1st to become available in the market and work out technical issues and coordinate marketing strategies.

I announced the Hard Launch in this week's newsletter on Tuesday afternoon, sponsored a coffee social on Wednesday morning, and had the Book Launch Party on Wednesday night.

Wait, What?! was # 88 on the Best Seller List on Wednesday morning.

It is now at # 10!

The hard launch window is Aug 22 - Aug 24, so I'd love your help (if you'd like), to get the ranking to # 1!

It's been two weeks...
so I added this to my LinkedIn profile. :-)

Wait, What?! launched on August 1st making it official for being a published author.

However, when I created the new section of my LinkedIn profile, I realized that the Pivot Magazine article was part of how the book journey started.

Being on the Pivot Perspectives podcast, talking about my work and sharing stories, was merely a different vehicle for getting my story out to an audience and sharing valuable information.

The magazine article and writing a book are "publishing vehicles."

Having a routine newsletter, social media content, and email list probably count too!

So, this happened in the last 6 days since my book launched...

Wait, WHAT?!

The name of the book is Wait, What?!, and I literally thought it when I saw these product details!

Not bad being on the first page of a best sellers list in less than a week! :-)

It'll go higher as the launch proceeds, so stay tuned for updates!

There is a minor technical difficulty for seeing all editions (i.e. E-Book, Paperback, Hardcover) on one page under Wait, What?!

However, they are all listed under my Amazon Author site.

"Houston, we are almost there..."

This post lets you know about the availability of Wait, What?! on Amazon.com.

I am thrilled to announce that all three editions are now available for purchase. However, they are not yet showing up on one page.

What does this mean?

Like in a bookstore, there are sections by category. At the moment, Amazon is showing my book in different places based on category: E-Book, Paperback, and Hardcover. It may take up to a week for Amazon to get all three editions to show up under the one title of Wait, What?!

However, ONE place on Amazon where all three editions show up together is my author page. I'll put the link in the comments.

Despite this additional technical challenge, just like with regular shopping, you can individually add the ones you want into your cart and do one check-out.

"Houston, we have a problem..."

I am thrilled to announce that Wait, What?! : The Success Formula For When Life Plays Out Differently Than You Expected is officially launched, EXCEPT...

There is a technical difficulty at the moment.

The print editions are temporarily out of stock (i.e., unavailable to order) because they were erroneously set to print as black-and-white copies.

The book contains color graphics depicting the Transition Puzzle Paradigm and personal pictures, so it is supposed to be in color.

This issue is getting corrected, so it will take a day or two to reset.

But despite this little technical glitch, I'm feeling GREAT, and also…

- relieved we caught the mistake before people ordered a flawed book

- accepting that things don't always go as you plan, but close enough is almost always good enough

- amused that the book's sub-title is so accurate

- extremely happy and proud of a huge goal accomplished

- excited for what the future will be

- hopeful for how the book will do in the market

- wonder for what impact it might make on people

- curious about what else I can do to make it successful

- motivated to learn more about this new world of authorship

With that said, don't mind me as I go about with a perma-grin on my face.
