This weekend's Songwriter's exercise! Pick an activity to do other than music, have fun, pick a time later in the day on Saturday or Sunday. Give yourself a few hours. Happy lunchtime Friday! Who is doing what this weekend? It will be warm here in the Northeast. Great for outside jams and groovy bands.
I think I finally worked out the bugs on the new lyric studio inside of The new release dropped last night but I didn't have time to review it. The new update has a focus feature (default) and a focus plus button. By selecting the lyrical line you are working on in harmony mode the line will automatically be centered near the left tool board to make it easier to drag and dropping chips like chords over your words. Well after a back and forth coding experience, pro users on MySongQuest.com are about to experience a very cool lyric writing experience with the lyric studio. For the past week I've been writing a new lyric using the lyric studio. The Lyric I wrote came out pretty good and the lyric studio benefited from me getting my hands dirty and digging in. Stay tuned for the update.

Here is a boring video update about the lyric studio. Boring to some I suppose butfor those of us dedicated to y art of authentic human created songwriting it's no so boring anymore.

Yes, in shoryw, the lyric studio was upgraded this weekend, some bugs were fixed a few things added.
#1, I added a way to add odd chords that are not part of the scale you are working in.
#2, I added a huge collection of alternative chords.
#3, on the side panel I added a link back to the lyric home page.
Bug fixes:
* Some of the chords were not draggable to the words. Fixed!
